Value Proposition Design book review.

As I flew home from Seattle recently it was quite exciting to discover Value Proposition Design – the sequel to Business Model Generation (read my book review for Business Model Generation here to find out why). I’m eager to find out what Alex Osterwalder, Yves Pigneur, Greg Bernarda and Alan Smith have created 2nd time round. The last book was so good, I expect this to be of equal quality.

Update: so far I’m 50 pages in – and loving it, especially the Value Proposition Design companion site. Access to this site is only for those who have bought the book. Identifying some NEW areas of opportunities – even after all the research already completed (including the really helpful Business Model Canvas).The content on the companion site is sectioned like the book: Intro, Canvas, Design, Test and Evolve plus an Afterward (simply click on the squares to reveal that section of bonus material – after you have logged in). It’s awesome! In particular the interactive models are lots of fun to use and I found the extended question sheets helpful to developing my strategy too.
